1K - $103K a year Vice President of Human Resources Bridgewater Retirement Community is seeking a collaborative and dedicated Vice President of Human Resources (VPHR) to provide executive-level leadership to the HR team and enterprise-wide guidance for talent acquisition and management.
The VPHR is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing effective long-range talent management strategy.
In addition, the VPHR is a key driver of BRC's empowering organizational culture, which values and rewards servant leadership, compassion, innovation, and stewardship.
The perfect candidate for this position has depth of experience in human resources management, exceptional interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills, and an innovative and caring spirit.

Who We Need:
VPHR Duties/
Responsibilities:
As a member of the senior team, participates in defining the organization's long-term mission and strategic goals and identifies ways to support them through talent management.
Identifies key performance indicators for BRC's human resources and talent management functions; assesses BRC's success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.
Researches, develops, and implements competitive and equitable compensation, benefits, performance appraisals, and team member incentive programs.
Provides leadership to the human resources management team; oversees the daily workflow of the department.
Provides HR-related guidance for team leaders throughout the organization; assists with resolution of human resources, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues.
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Maintains knowledge of and ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.
Drafts and oversees BRC's staffing budget, and the budget for the human resource department.
Collaborates in building a strong and effective internal communications program.
Stays up to date on technology and tools that support HR operations.
Participates in professional development and networking conferences and events.
Manages liability and human capital proficiently.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
At least 10 years of human resources management experience required, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred.
A combination of relevant experience and education is also acceptable.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
