This position is responsible for maintaining the marketing programs of the business to build brand awareness and drive sales.
The ideal candidate is hard-working, creative, and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
This position allows for much creative freedom and the opportunity to take marketing campaigns to the next level.
This full-time position offers a flexible work schedule, 3 weeks total paid time off/year as well as holiday pay, and medical insurance.
Job Responsibilities Plan, create and post content to Bluestone Vineyard's social media channels.
Maintain and edit website using content management system; updating tasting room information, maintain online store, post event information, etc.
Build effective email campaigns that inspire action and involvement with the Bluestone brand; maintain database of email contacts Represent the Bluestone Vineyard brand through content creation for a variety of channels including social media, digital, print, and web.
Create, edit, and manage digital and print content such a photography, video, tasting room materials, flyers, brochures, and more.
Work closely and collaboratively with various departments in the business including the tasting room, events/weddings, winery, distribution, etc.
Access communications for efficiency, engagement, and optimization.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Skills & Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old.
Able to work 40 hours per week, occasionally working evenings and weekends for events.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, digital media or related field preferred but relevant work experience will be reviewed.
Photography and website editing skills preferred.
Excellent communication skills with friendly personality.
Strong organizational and time management skills, an exceptional work ethic, and a high level of energy and creativity.
Able to prioritize, problem solve, and meet deadlines on multiple projects.
An appreciation for Virginia wine.
Able to work independently and as a team.
