HR Interviewer at Perdue Farms in Bridgewater, VA
Summary Manages all aspects of the Human Resources function for a plant facility or for a designated Corporate department and/or departments. Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manages the Human Resources staff including hiring, training and development ensuring all services are provided on time and cost effective. Manages programs, policies and procedures ensuring fair application and practices as well as legal compliance. Trains in the area of providing medical, security and safety services in accordance with company guidelines. Provides leadership and management of the work environment via the use of the PBIP (Positive Behavior Intervention Plan) and QIP (Quality Improvement Plan). Keeps the facility appropriately staffed with competent hourly and salaried associates through acceptable employment practices. Takes a leadership role in creating the environment which fosters change and be a leader in change management. Minimum Education Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics or related discipline. Experience Requirements 5 plus years experience. Previous experience in working in a manufacturing environment; proven experience in problem-solving automated timekeeping systems and orientation of new associates. Must be able to multi-task and organize multiple projects. Requires strong analytical skills, analyze and resolve problems at both a strategic and functional level. Must have knowledge of and ability to provide strong customer orientation along with the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization and a commitment to excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Requires knowledge of a commitment to team performance, effective coaching and demonstrated skills or a strong team player. Requires travel to other facilities and plants for meetings and/or company business.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
